The first four accounts in your list get a shortcut. Drag accounts to reorder them and the shortcuts follow.
Rebind them
In Chrome, open the Settings panel and hit “Customize shortcuts”. In Firefox, go to about:addons → the gear icon → Manage Extension Shortcuts.
Saving an account is done from the toolbar popup — there is no save shortcut. Keyboard shortcuts are available on desktop only.

Yes — it’s live. Session Switcher is on Firefox Add-ons, and it also installs on Firefox for Android. It needs Firefox 140 or newer. Everything works the same as the Chrome version: the same accounts, the same Alt+1–4 shortcuts on desktop, and the same Free and Pro tiers. Your license works on both browsers.
Chrome and Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, Opera, Arc) via the Chrome Web Store, and Firefox 140+ via Firefox Add-ons — including Firefox for Android. Browsers on iPhone and iPad don’t support extensions at all, so it can’t run there.
Firefox turns extensions off in Private Browsing windows by default. To use Session Switcher there, go to about:addons → Session Switcher → and enable “Run in Private Windows”.
This one is Google’s sign-in widget, not the extension. On Firefox it sometimes skips the account picker and signs you straight back into the Google account you were already using. If that happens while you’re adding a second account, use the platform’s own email sign-in instead of “Continue with Google”.
Yes. Hover an account in the popup and drag it by the handle on the left, or use “Move up” / “Move down” in its three-dot menu. The order sticks, and the Alt+1–4 shortcuts follow it — so whichever account you put first is always Alt+1.
A Pro feature. Freezing pins a tab to the account it currently has, so switching accounts in another tab — or a routine background refresh — can’t quietly swap the data underneath it. Useful when you want to keep one long-running conversation untouched while you work in another account. Unfreeze it, or close the tab, and it goes back to normal.
They shouldn’t. While you browse a supported site, Session Switcher quietly updates that account’s saved snapshot in the background, so it stays valid. If a session does expire on the platform’s side, the popup flags that account and offers to re-save it once you’ve logged back in.
